SUMMARY:Race: Brantwood Children's Home Love Run/Walk 5K - 2022
DESCRIPTION:Brantwood Children’s Home is hosting our annual 5k Love Run through downtown Montgomery beginning at Paterson Field on Saturday\, Feb. 12th\, 2022. Past race participants have billed it “the toughest 5k in Montgomery” designed to simulate the incredible hardships some of our children have endured in their short lifetimes. We welcome runners and walkers! \nMore than a home\, Brantwood really is a place where our children are nurtured and supported just as they would receive at home with family. Since 1917\, Brantwood Children’s Home has been providing a safe\, stable\, structured environment for abused\, neglected and other “at-risk” children. Currently Brantwood serves children and youth ages 10-21. Brantwood offers programs which are designed to help these young people cope with and succeed in society. \n*Registered Racers may pick up race day packets at Brantwood Children’s Home on Friday\, Feb. 11th from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. or day of event at 7:30 a.m. \n7:30 a.m. Registration Opens at Paterson Field ($5.00 added to day-of race registrations) \n8:00 a.m. Opening Remarks \n8:15 a.m. Love Run 5k Warm-Ups Begin at Paterson Field \n8:30 a.m. Official Start of Love Run 5k at Paterson Field
